How it started
In 2011, the Moran family – John, Jacqueline, and Frankie took a leap of faith and purchased an old amusement arcade known as Fantasy Island. With a vision to transform it into a vibrant Thai restaurant, they rolled up their sleeves and put in the hard work necessary for the conversion. After countless hours of dedication, the restaurant opened its doors in Easter 2013.
John and Jacqueline brought years of hospitality experience to the table, having previously owned the George Hotel in Braunton from 1999 to 2014. John managed the building project, while Jacqueline meticulously crafted the design and decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Today, our restaurant is a thriving hub of Thai cuisine, thanks in part to our talented team of Thai chefs, some of whom joined us from Braunton. After John and Jacqueline retired in 2015, Frankie took the reins, continuing the family tradition of excellence in hospitality.
Now co-run with her husband Tony, we remain passionate about serving authentic Thai dishes and providing an unforgettable dining experience. We love what we do and are committed to sharing the rich flavours and vibrant culture of Thailand with our guests.
